Tulsa LDSIG Mar 2026 - attended the 3 day event, 5 presentations and 3 op sessions. Another run Tulsa visit, fun ops and interesting speakers… only 1150 miles round trip. Kansas City Feb 2026 - went to the Prairie Rail operations weekend and worked on four railroads, including an HO, S, O and P48 layout. 1900 miles round trip in 3+ days. Colorado Sept 2025 - Mary and I went to Colorado in September for a week. Personal page has full list, here I will link to just railroad pictures. Kansas May 2025 - visiting Mary’s family in Kansas, I spent a day in Kansas City and visited 5 model railroad layouts, 4 O scale and 1 HO scale. Plus an On30 in Wichita. Tulsa Mar 2025 - went to Tulsa Rails operations weekend and worked on 4 layoutsTrip was about 1100 miles and 2 ½ days of operating. DFW Nov 2024 - I attended the DFW Interchange, a model railroad, Operations Weekend, where I worked on 4 railroads over the 2 ½ days. Seattle Sept 2024 - Mary and I went to Seattle for a week. We toured the City. Personal page has full trip, here I will link to the two model railroads we visited. New York City Oct 2022 - Mary and I spent 7 days in the big city. We traveled around Manhattan and saw the sight. One night we visited this hobby store. Colorado 2019 - traveled to Colorado to ride a Photo Freight and drive over various ‘Jeep roads’ in the Silverton area. Colorado 2017 - attended the National Narrow Gauge Railroad convention plus traveled around the State visiting narrow gauge railroads Colorado 2016 - went to chase the D&RGW 315 Freight Special and two RGS Geese, and rode the Rio Grande Scenic. Trip cut short due to family crisis.
